My hair

I read something a while ago the writer a black lady was talking about how we black women dont value our hair texture hence the Brazilian and Peruvian hair craze. which really made me think and take note of Barack Obama's daughters. I mean every picture i have seen of them they have on their natural African hair and they look beautiful. Even their mother Michelle. I think we should appreciate the texture of hair God had given us and stop covering it all the time with synthetic or "human" hair. It is NOT inferior to other hair types.  Our Afro Kinky hair is lovely and i have seen women who wear it beautifully even without relaxing it.
When i see pictures of people with 24/26 inch Brazilian hair some of them look ridiculous. It just doesnt does not look natural.

  1. I have my natural hair on a lot of times, though relaxed. But i think that people find it difficult to maintain and have a way out the maintenance task with wigs. Thant notwithstanding, we can also begin to embrace doing more of the African braids to help out, than the very expensive wigs.
